One of the major factions in the Sundering Wars, the Purlogate was a nation of clones. The Purlogate believed in an extreme form of racial purity, believing that the natural methods of conception were too error-prone. Founding

The Purlogate began life as a strange combination of cult and think tank in one of the many nations prior to The Consolidation. It drew on disenfranchised scientists and the all too willing faithful that simply accepted what the scientists said. At first, the experiments were helpful in nature, breeding immunity to many of the prevalent diseases, and increasing the lifespan of members.

Soon after settling the first Purlogate city of New Frontiers, the direction of the modifications took a less benign turn. The more enhanced Purlogate members began to become distrustful of anyone not modified. The newly formed Latar Allied Forces began stockpiling weapons and was making hostile moves at every turn. The modifications began to be tuned for combat usefulness: increased vision, strength and stamina. The distrust of outsiders was encouraged by the leaders; defending the genetic purity was elevated to an almost religious duty.

While its unknown what event started the Sundering Wars, most scholars agree that it was probably engineered by the Purlogate.
